AAACCKK!!! I'm so behind I didn't even realise I had not moved everything over here yet!!! Gomen!!!
Well I'll try to do that in the next day or three. For now, a show of hands please...
Who is still interested in playing in this RP?
We really, really need to have at least 3 active folks for it to work and I'd really, really, really like to have bunches of players! So lobby us folks, get us some new blood if you want this to be a great RP

Well unfortunately we can't play with only 2 members, it simply doesn't work well.
So as of now, for the time being at least, this RP is officially closed.

Valdemar is a country located in the world of Velgarth, created by author Mercedes Lackey. (That's the official line LOL)
What that means is it's a fantasy setting series of trilogies dualogies and a couple stand alones. There are like 30 books all told. The first novels written were the Arrows of the Queen trilogy. Though there are some short stories she had written earlier that got incoporated into the same world as a trilogy later.
So what makes Velgarth unique and fun you ask... In Valdemar there are beings called Companions, pure white (as in whitere than snow) horses with silver hooves that chime in a bell-like manner on stone. They bond with a young person, called Choosing, and they are forever linked together after that. They can speak to thier Chosen and other Companions min to mind, they are stronger and faster then horses with 3+ times the stamina, and human intelligent. Some humans have Magic and/or Mind Magic (like Healing, Fetching(telekinesis) and Empathy.)
In other parts of Velgarth there are all manner of beings including Gryphons (human intelligent, magical etc.), Hertasi (lizard-folk, human intelligent) and Kyree (mix of a grasscat and a wolf, human intelligent). There are also bondbirds, the bond to the Tayledras (Hawkbrothers) at a young age, they are child-like intelligence breed raptors, much bigger than an average raptor and very fun.
Magic abounds in most of the books and there's way too much to describe it all here. I recommend searching the Wikipedia or some other such reference place for Velgarth you'll get a much better description than this little bit here

Hmm....I must look into this...novel series....And this rp sounds very intriguing....But I don't know enough about the books to play in the rp, so, unfortunately, I shall not be joining it.

For the quickest start into Valdemar and being able to play here I recommend the Arrows of the Queen trilogy first. It has the most Collegium stuff in it.

Oh Pyris!!!! Did you ever get to read any of the books?
Is anyone else interested in this RP? It never got restarted due to a lack of members and I hate for it to go the way of file 13 but if I don't get at least 3 members so shall it go
