(( vertically-challenged Lol! ))
Akhor snorted quietly, lowering his arm as the rest of the armor fell away. His red eyes glanced quickly to his side toward Kai, who looked away quickly. A sly grin came over Akhor's face and he stepped away from Kratos, not trusting the mercenary to stand behind him.

(((Wow, delayed reaction. lol)))
Kratos took a step back. Akhor...protected me?? From what?? In his state, he would not have been able to dodge such a lightning-fast attack aimed directly at him.
Hoping that Akhor would continue to protect him from the other creature, Kratos turned on both of them and dashed over to the large pool of crimson-stained snow that held Ame and Sesshomaru.
"What...what happened here??" Judging which of them was hurt more--Ame, from the looks of it--he placed a hand on her shoulder, and immediatly began healing her, before the others--particularly Akhor--could stop him.
(((Yah, is they're on the ground, then Kratos knelt, I just can't remember what their positions were.)))

Sesshoumaru was relieved to see that Kratos was healing Ame. As his strength gradually returned, he would try to rise.
He may have trusted Kratos to protect Ame for now. But just until he was able to move. Because the red-haired mercenary was apparently far too frightened of Akhor to help for long.

Kai dashed over after Kratos, coming to a halt beside Sesshoumaru, "What about you?" he asked him, "Need some help?"

Sesshoumaru took a breath, clinging to it for support.
"My energy...is almost completely depleted," he said hoarsely.
It wasn't accepting help, it was stating a problem. So Kai had better not have gotten the idea that he was asking for help. Because he wasn't. Nope. He'd never do that.
But he wouldn't turn it down either.

Ame pulled away from Kratos' hand, as wonderful as the healing felt. "Leave it," she ordered. "I'll be fine."
Aku's eyes widened slightly as she watched Kratos. "Of course..." she whispered, extending one clawed hand towards Ame and twitching her fingers slightly as her eyes glowed.

Akhor's own eyes narrowed, "What are you doing halfbreed!" He shouted. He'd called Aku names like so before. For in his eyes she was like a dog, a mut.
Kai lifted an eyebrow, "So is that a yes or a no to my question?" He asked. "Asking and accepting help are two different things Sesshoumaru, and unless you feel like passing out any time soon, accepting is your best choice."

"I...accept..."
Sesshoumaru figured that Kai was right. Accepting and asking were different.
And passing out was not an option.

Kratos turned, unaware that Aku had gotten so close. He was panting slightly, the healing taking the little energy he had managed to accumulate since the fight and Akhor's 'healing'.
He grabbed her wrist, finger wrapping tightly around the demon/dragon's arm, stopping her. "You will not touch her." he ordered, glaring at her. He stole a glance back at Ame. She looked better, but he could still see traces of the wounds through tears in her clothing. He turned back to Aku.
(((Hey, are the demons on the ground, or standing?)))

"And touch the mercenary and I'll decide I do feel like fighting." Akhor stated, snorting queitly.
Kai nodded and placed his hand on Sesshoumaru's arm. A dark substance drifted into Sesshoumaru, feeling his whole body. The way Kai healed, he replenished their energy, which he began to do to Sesshoumaru.

Kratos released Aku before waiting for a response. He stood (I still didn't get an answer on the demon's posistions, so I'll assume they are on the ground), and positioned himself between Kai, Sesshomaru, Hiei, and Ame; and Akhor and Aku. He had noticed Kai doing something, hopefully beneficial, and had decided to give him as much time as possible to do whatever it was.
He was dangerously close to Aku, but he had to be to protect Ame. At this distance, she was withing arm's length of him. But he was not afraid of her, as he was not aware of her powers. Instead, his attention and eyes kept shifting to Akhor. The dragon still hadn't commented on the fact that the angel was now his slave.

Akhor cocked an eyebrow as Kratos's eyes fell upon him, "Need something?" He inquired.

(Sorry bout that, SD. I was hoping I wouldn't have to answer and that Hiei would answer instead...but she's gone for the weekend...^^u)
Sesshoumaru rose to his feet rapidly as his energy was replenished. It had alarmed him at first, but then he had let the darkness enter him without any sort of mental qualm.
Perhaps Kai was not so bad. Perhaps he wouldn't need to die sometime in the far future.
Then again, perhaps not. Sesshoumaru wasn't one to judge by small tasks.
The taiyoukai glanced at Ame for a brief moment, then his gaze flicked to Aku, then Akhor.

Kai finished adding energy to Sesshoumaru, so he had all his back, and moved to the wounds which healed instantly. He drew his hand away, not the slightest bit tired. He had unlimited energy when it came to healing, for as long as there were shadows, Kai could replenish his own strength.

((( "For so long as there were shadows, Kai could replenish his own strength." DR? Erm...that means Kai never gets tired, right? Don't you think that's a little godmoding?)))
(((Hey, guys, let's wait for Hiei, I didn't know she wasn't going to be here for the weekend)))
