"I don't know," Yugi replied truthfully. "But I do know that this is not the first time this has happened. You all know Head Master Mokuba, correct? His older brother, the founder of this school, is a reincarnation. As is Marik's older sister, Ishizu Ishtar, now head of the Cairo museum in Egypt."
Akira still thought this was all crazy, but the evidence was tantalizing. "How do you know?"
"They've had visions of their pasts," Yugi replied. "The visions were generally brought about by the Shadow Realm, which is sort've like a medium between this world and the afterlife. The Millennium Items are what the spirit of the ring would call 'vessels' for transorting Shadow magic into this realm."

Kedra grinned, "Wicked." He stated, now sitting on the edge of his bed. "So which item did Marik have?"

"The rod," Yugi replied, "but he gave it to me after the Battle City Finals. Ishizu also handed over the Millennium Tauk at the same time. Those two items are very powerful. The Tauk can see into the future. The rod can control minds."
Akira whistled. "What can the ring do?"
"Uhm, well, it can locate the other items," Yugi said, looking thoughtful as he sought to remember the ring's powers, "and banish souls to the Shadow Realm. In the right hands, it can also take a soul from one thing and put it in another."

Kedra blinked, "Whoa, that's freaky." Maybe that's why I like the Rod... "That's awesome."

"Totally," Akira remarked. Just the thought of such power made him want to believe in it. "Still..."

Kedra snorted, "So... He gunna wake up any time soon?" He asked, poiting at Ryou.

Yugi frowned and poked Ryou's shoulder exerimentally. "Ryou?"
Ryou groaned and rolled over. "Go 'way, Hiroto, I dun' wanna' go to work today..."

Kedra grinned, "Anyone got a marker?" He asked.

Akira held his hand up. "In my backpack."
"Boys." Yugi gave them a warning look. "Don't even think about it."

"Can I borrow it?" Kedra asked, sliding off the bed and starting toward Ryou.

"Yeah, sure." Akira rumaged through his pack and tossed the marker to Kedra. "Knock yourself out."
Yugi crossed his arms and glared at Kedra, daring him to get closer.

"Thank you." Kedra caught the marker, glanced at Yugi, and slipped over one of the beds and took a step toward Ryou.

"Try it, Kedra, and you'll have detention so fast you won't be able to object," Yugi warned, eyes narrowing. Akira blinked. Yugi looked a lot like the spirit in the picture right now.

Kedra raised an eyebrow, sighing quietly, "You're no fun, you know that?" He informed him, capping the marker and giving it back to Akira, adding something that sounded like, "Stupid old people..." In a mutter.

"Thirty, thank you," Yugi muttered in response. "Crazy teens. Well, I've got a million other things to do." He gathered up the pictures and returned them to his wallet. "Try not to get into too much trouble, alright?"
