"As long as you so agree to the same," Kratos growled, not moving. He studied Shaldrissa's face for any sign on falsehood or deceit.

" I promise with all the kindness I have left in my heart!" Shaldrissa then took her grip off Kratos and waited cautiously for his next move.

Kratos snorted spectacuarly. "Kindness?! You?! You wouldn't know kindness if it came up to you and handed you a basket of cookies..." Nevertheless, he stood, and sheathed his sword cautiously. He took a step back. "If I try to flee, will you chase me?" he asked.

"I have no kindness because I was shown no kindness. If you try to flee, I will just say forget it, and think that you are just a self-absorbed thing that only looks out for yourself..." Shaldrissa was trying to keep herself calm while talking to Kratos, but anger was building up inside her.

"You were shown no kindness?! Excuse me, but I believe it was you who first started killing angels!!" Now Kratos was becoming angered as well. He pushed emotion away.
"So, what is this proposition of yours, Shaldrissa?" he asked, controlled anger in his voice despite himself.

"First, lets get one thing strait, if I was shown any kindness, MY PARENTS WOULD HAVE BEEN ALIVE TODAY!!! Or did you forget that little detail?" Shaldrissas anger was coming over her, but no matter what she had to keep it under control.
"I don't know if you noticed, but when I was coming to you, I was traveling at 189mph on the bike... The reason for this was because I overheard these demons talking about this attack they are planing. Many innocent people live in that area and I don't want them to be hurt. If you help me out by gathering an army, I will not kill any angels that I see for five years." Shaldrissa tried not to sound as if she is begging Kratos for help.

Kratos narrowed his eyes, "You've been killing angels for the past three years. Give me one good reason why I should believe you. For all I know, this could be a trap of yours to get me to lower my guard so you can finally stike a heavy blow to the angels by killing a Seraph."

" Listen, I will give you my sworn promise, and from my reputation, I do not go and break promises. If you do not want to believe me, fine. Goodbye then." Shaldrissa turned and started to head back to her motorcycle.

Kratos hesitated. "...Wait, Shaldrissa." He paused, then continued. "Answer me one question, now, while we are at a partial truce. Why do you pursue angels? From your plea for help, if I may so call it that without angering you, it seems you take the side of humans. We angels fight for your side as well. Why do you fight both demons and angels?"

Shaldrissa stopped when Kratos called out, but did not want to answer. It was a painful subject, but she did know that someone would ask her that very question-why. "Why? You are supposed to watch over us, protect us from harm... I believed in guardian angels, but obviously that is not true. I am just still upset that people feel that you will be our soverigns when really you just fight the demons and don't care who gets caught in the middle." Shaldrissa sighed, and then hesitantly turned around and faced Kratos.
"Are you still interested, or do you think that I am bringing you into a trap?"

"Hold on. We do care who gets caught in the crossfire. We're trying to push the demons back to hell so they stop destroying this world." He hesitated, coming closer to Shaldrissa.
"Shaldrissa," he began, "there are things you don't understand about why all this has happened. Tell me what happened to you. What happened to your parents, Shaldrissa? Perhaps I can help you to understand why things happened like that. Come back to the Angelic Stronghold with me, and perhaps I can help you see things from our point of view." Kratos offered his hand. "Come with me, Shaldrissa. You have a gift, that may help us win this war. Perhaps you could even find your parents, if they became angels when they died. Maybe they're just waiting for you to come to them." His voice was soft, reassuring. His eyes were the same.

Shaldrissa looked into Kratos eyes to see if he was truthful or just trying her to go away with no fighting. The only thing she could see though was that Kratos was actually being sincere.
"Fine, I will go, but I will tell you what happened and a few questions." Shaldrissa looked at Kratos waiting for his reply.

Kratos nodded. "Then let's go." With a powerful beat of his wings, the Seraph lifted himself into the air. "That motorcycle can go fast, right?" he asked. "How fast?"

"It can go 250 mph. The only problem is that I am really low on gas, so I might stall on the way there." Shaldrissa mounted her bike and started it up.

"Figures." Kratos said. "Well, let's see how well you do..." Without warning, he took off. "Follow me, Shaldrissa, I'll guide you to the Base."
