Name- S'ven Truesdale Species- Vampire Age- Looks to be in his early twenties. Gender- Male Sexuality- Bi (but loves a pretty woman) Personality- Arrogant, self-confident, but often more caring than your typical vampire. At times his personality can completely switch and he'll behave the way he did as a mortal or he'll have a complete breakdown. General Appearance- About six foot even, with slightly curly silver hair that he keeps slicked back in a small ponytail. He enjoys dressing in clothing from the Victorian era, as it's the era he's from, but often wears a long dark cloak when out in public. His eyes are an eerie red color and his skin was pale even before he became a vampire. History- Originally an albino from the Victorian era, he had to deal with ridicule his entire life, even from his mother, whom he adored. At birth, his mother was convinced that he was cursed by the devil. His father was under the impression that his mother had slept with the sweidish cook and named him S'ven as a way to punish his unfaithful wife. S'ven was unwillingly turned by another vampire who was fascinated by the prospect of creating an albino vampire. However, he abandoned him shortly afterwards, telling S'ven only to get out of the sun, which he did, dashing home as fast he could and hiding in his closet. The next night he went to his beloved mother and confessed to her all that had happened. Disgusted and fearful, his mother cast him out of the house. He has lived on his own since and has always been against any form of abuse to humans and vampires alike, due to memories of his creator. Skills- Talented at espionage, due to his vampiric powers. These include enhanced intuition, hearing, speed, and some ability to communicate with certain animals, depending on wether or not the animal wants to communicate.

Name: Vasile Nelu Viorel Costel-Vi Gender: Male Age: 19 Species: Werewolf-Lycan General Appearance: When he is not, large, fury, and tearing things to shreds he has brown hair is low in stature and his eyes are almost always blood shot, being a lycan and all. When he is a lycan he wears a black trench coat that make it easier for him to stay silent as he moves his huge boy in and out of his mission areas. He has very strange red markings and black fur. Normally a lycan has no markings and has brown fur, but Vioriel was "special" so to speak, and no I don't mean mentally retarded. Personality: He is very full of himself and feels he is the strongest person in the group. History: He is a lycan from Romania who came to New York looking for the so called "cure". When he joins Paraphrase he learns that his lycanthropy is more of a gift from the gods. Skills: He uses brute strength to tear the enemies apart, and his innate stealth skills to sneak into enemy territory.

Name: Rinneleine Meir. Nicknames include Rinne or Leine, though she answers to most anything.
Age: 341. She seems to look no older than fifteen.
Species: Vampire
Sexuality: Hetero, for the most part. Depends on her mood.
Personality: Rin is a rather odd girl, mainly for her mannerisms. When she's in a particular mood, she can either act extremely quiet and calm, and the next she can be a compact ball of violent fury. She's easily bored, and often sates the feeling with literature. Very few things can truly anger her, though it's rather easy to tell when she's offended. Her usually melodic voice drops to a barely audible hiss, and ends up overly polite as revenge. In that sickening, positively drenched in sarcasm sort of way. It's rather clear she hasn't gotten over practically selling her soul, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying immortality to its fullest. She treats people with an earnest kindness only when she really wants to.
She enjoys observing the human race and how much they've changed over the years, playing mind games and tormenting inferior beings. Of her many dislikes, she loathes human food the most. Though she can eat it, it all has a taste very similar to sand. Garlic is the only thing that's strong enough to bother her, hence why she avoids it.
Appearance: [reference]
Rin is a naturally pale person, considering a few genetic mutations in her old life that she never got 'corrected' as a vampire. The apparent youth's silver hair falls almost to the small of her back, rarely bound in loose pony-tails behind frail shoulders. Most of the time, though, she allows it to flick around in her face when she walks. Light pink eyes act as a double edged sword, as they can be a dead giveaway to her true nature, or a sly cover, depending on who thinks about it first. Albinism isn't entirely rare these days, after all. Vampires are, however. The dangerously willowy teen stands at a mere 5' 3''. Somehow, it adds to her subtle intimidating air. The vampire carries herself in a very poised manner-- mainly an old habit that she never cared to get rid of. As for her taste in clothing, she was particularly fond of the Victorian era for how lively it all seemed, and especially the attire. She still clings to that sort of elegance, though doesn't go all out with ruffles and lace and petticoats. Maybe simple long sleeved knee-length dresses, usually black and sparsely decorated with lace, a pair of white gloves and some boots and stockings. Sometimes she'll experiment with clothing and end up looking like a fan of today's Lolita fashion.
History: Rinneleine was born on December eleventh, 1662 in Vienna, Austria. She had two younger brothers, Arec and Nicolai. The year of her last birthday was the same one the Great Plague swept over Vienna. For a while, her family had been relatively safe from the plague. The girl had remained inside her house, where hopefully she nor her family could be harmed. It worked for a while, but within a month the epidemic was growing too large to hide from. Nicolai was being treated at one of the hospitals founded by the Brotherhood of the Trinity. This drove Rinneleine to finally step outside her house and search for a way to save her family. The chaos lessened at night, so naturally that was the time when she would scour the streets for an answer. It did come. Quicker than the girl had thought it would. Though salvation came in the form of an eeriely beautiful person offering immortality, it was still salvation. Without another thought, Leine accepted the exchange of her life for a new one and would finalize the deal the next night. She returned home and proudly told her family of what she had discovered, only to have none of them follow. They said that the plague was God's way of telling Vienna they had done something wrong, and one should not go against God's will. Crestfallen, the girl bid her family farewell and left to adapt to a new life, if it could be called that. Her new life was spent with her master only occasionally, as she was taught to fend for herself. She still feels some remorse for never being able to save her family, but maybe it was the works of a God she certainly didn't believe in after their deaths.
Skills: Rinne's a fast thinker and a smooth talker, so naturally persuasion and diversions are her stronger points. Manipulation often comes into play, and due to her fondness of overthinking things, she sometimes does the planning of Paraphrase's operations.

Name: Sebastian Wroth Alias/Nicknames: Accepts being called Bastian, dislikes but will respond to Bass, pummels anyone who calls him Bastie. Known to some as the "Cold War Vampire." Gender: Male Age: 368 Species: Russian Vampire General Appearance: See pic above, with a few edits. He has thick black hair, and strom grey eyes that change depending on his mood, emotions, and surroundings. Personality: Relatively cold, sadistic, uncaring. He'll do things only if it suits his own goals, but he knows his place and follows those above him. He came to Paraphrase knowing he'd have to subject himself to the will of others above him, and has come to accept that. His loyalty lies with himself and the organization alone. Only those above him in rank can trust him. He cares little for his peers, and not at all for those below him. History: Bastion has never revealed the exact origins of his Turning, but everyone knows it was forced upon him, somehow. He's been in Paraphrase long enough to know nearly everyone, and has pretty much been accepted by all as the "Cold War Vampire" for his past as a powerful war general in the seventen hundreds. Knowledge he has revealed to the others: He is Russian; he was a Russian General during wars with bordering east European countries. He was Turned against his will. He's over 350 years old. He lived through many wars, and fought in nearly all of them. Skills/Powers: Perhaps his mose useful powers is the rare ability to trace, to teleport anywhere he's already been. He has to be able to visualize it in his mind to transport himself there. That means that while he can't trace into a building to steal something, he can trace right from the scene of the crime back to HQ with ease. --Incredible strength: Unnaturally strong as a mortal, Bastion's bulk only grew as a Vampire, and he hurl a semi off a cliff from twenty feet back by now. He weilds a heavy claymore with ease and skill. --Knowledge: Never one to be caught off-guard by the world he's sequestered himself from, Bastion is always reading about current events and what's going on in the world. --Multilinguality: Sebastian can speak multiple Eastern European languages. Mostly Russian, Estonian, Polish, German, among others, including, of course, English. He can understand French, but cannot speak it well. He can read most languages of the world. Downsides: Other than being a general smartass to everyone he doesn't like, certain circumstances about his mysterious Turning have forced Bastian to have to feed every day. The longest he can ever go without blood is maybe two. Any more than that, and he begins to lose sanity to what he calls "The Hunger"--A hidden, basic primal instinct of survival that he can only satiate with gross amounts of blood, as compared to other Vampires. ((That's about it, I'll prolly put more down as I think of it))

Name: Aryenne Castelle, nicknamed Aria Gender: Female Age: 23 Species: Human General Appearance: Short and petite, Aria doesn't look all that threatening; delicately boned, she has wide, slightly slanted eyes, and very snub nose that gives her something of a childlike mien....or it would, if she ever let her expression be so innocent. Her face is very expressive, but is almost always guarded, cautiously blank, and older than her twenty-three years should know. She hates her hair, which is straight and brown, with a curiously strong smokey sheen --about the only good thing she could say about it is that it's long, hanging to her hips. It's almost always braided and pinned up in flat bun on the back of her head. Her eyes are the bright, vivid green of sunlight on spring leaves, and she tends to dress in practical, dark-colored, and rather unfashionable clothes like old jeans and combat boots. Personality: Aria is somewhat of a loner, although that doesn't prevent her from being lonely. However, just because she's rather anti-social doesn't mean she's apathetic --on the contrary, she holds life (especially human life!) in high regard, and would fight an immortal for a total stranger's life...if not exactly happily. Don't take her for a stereotypical hero, though --she's reluctant to get too involved with anyone's life beyond possibly saving it, and fights strictly to win, any way she can. She's very practical and independent. History: Aria grew up in the Slayer world, as her father is a scientist for the Church, and an ardent member of the Slayer cause since her mother's death at the hands of vampires. She hadn't grown up intending to join the ranks, having been wary of such a harsh lifestyle and the adverse psychological effects killing has, but another death --this time that of a shifter friend-- changed her mind. That doesn't necessarily mean that she hates vampires blindly, however... Skills: Aria has considerable talent with her two handguns, and is pretty good with her multitude of silver-coated knives. She is also a skilled actress, good at dissembling and pretending to be less than she is...

((Um, not sure. Can they have powers like Fire Control? Or *Cough*Shadow*Cough* kind of things? Or is it just enhanced senses and what not?))

((Depends on what we're talking about.
Lycans don't, humans don't. A wiccan yes, but they wouldn't have any other powers other than shadow (or fire). A vampire... to some extent.))

((To some extent? Well, I was thinking Vampire or Wiccan. Definetly not human and very unlikely a Lyncan. I may go with Wiccan then... Unless, *Repeats*, To some extent?))

((Well, obviously powers are much more limited in this RP, due to the plot requiring it. Vampires blend into darkness easily but other than that they're mostly just enhanced versions of humans. Eyesight, hearing, agility, so on and so forth. They can't control shadows or anything.))

((Well, then I'd probably go with a Wiccan. Does this mean they couldn't control it, like a power, but can use spells involving it? Or what?))

((They rely almost totally on spells, though if they want to excel, they have to pick a specific kind of spell and stick with it. Which, spells can be made up so you've pretty much got free rein.))
