"Thanks." Silvain slipped inside quietly, and closed the compartment door, both surprised that a Gryffindor would tolerate a Slytherin, and not surprised because he had never really been a hard-core Slytherin, anyway, and he'd been around Valiente and the others of his year for everyone to know he wasn't 'evil' like the stereotypical rest of them.
He took a seat opposite Valiente, opened the book near the beginning, removing a silver and green bookmark with a serpent twining around an emerald at the top and a large S making up most of the rest of it, set it aside, and began to read.

"Mm-Hm." Valiente squished himself deeper into the corner so that he had two sides to rest his head against, proving for a more comfortable position.

Scowling at her rotten luck, Shuey peered through the corridors of the train. There weren't any blasted compartments! There were two that she could see: one with a group of vile-smelling wizard first or second years, and the other with a couple of what looked like fourth or fifth years. Sighing, she stepped over to the compartment door and rapped on it softly. At least I can observe them in silence.... At least, they don't sound too loud. She twirled her wand between her fingers idly, having nearly missed the train because she was studying the newest DADA Spellbook she had recieved. It really was facinating.

Silvain scowled, and looked up at the intruder. His expression immediately relaxed, though, when he recognized another Slytherin, a year younger than himself.
He glanced at Valiente, then returned to his book, letting the Gryffindor decide whether to take on another passenger or not. After all, it was his compartment.

Valiente, having managed to close his eyes and sort of doze off, was annoyed at being roused again. He turned to the door, searching the face of whoever was there, and sighing, "Come in."

Silvain didn't look up. "You surprise me, Valiente," he said quietly. "Allowing two Slytherins into the compartment you clearly wanted for yourself..."

Valiente glanced over at him, "Hm?" He smiled slightly, "I wanted it to myself so I could sleep. I don't see either of you preventing me from doing that."

"...Do you know Shuey?" he asked quietly, his head moving up imperceptibly as his eyes looked over the book at Valiente. "If she's in the mood, she can be quite friendly, if you know what I mean..." His voice was almost toneless, like he was bored even while speaking.

Valiente shook his head, "I don't really, no. Hopeful guess." A quick smile crossed his face, then vanished. He seriously needed to get some sleep.

Silvain studied Valiente with slate gray eyes, eyes that didn't miss the slightest detail.
"I'll move her and myself down the train if she wants to talk," he determined, looking back down at his book. "There must be an empty compartment toward the end; the train is never completely full."

Valiente smirked again. It was hard to get anything past Silvain, even if the fact that he was tired wasn't exactally hard to miss, "Thanks."

Shuey smirked lightly, eyeing the boys with a knowing glint in her eyes. Just because she could, she patted the Gryffindor on the head and sitting next to Sylvain with an amused glance. He had the most amusing eyes, always had. They reminded her of the one time she had seen a Malfoy. It was rather scary when she compared the two.... it amused her.

Ryan was walking lookign for somewhere he could sit and wait for the train ride to end. He hated the train ride to Hogwarts it always took so long and was very uncomfortable in his opinion. He looked at one of the compartment infront of himself it had three people in it already but he wanted to get away from the others on the train that were talking so much. This one seemed rather quiet. He sighed and knocked on the door.

A spark of annoyance at a fourth person wishing to enter the compartment made Silvain pick up the bookmark Shuey almost sat on, slip it into the pages, and snap the book shut. He stood.
"Forgive me," he said quietly to Valiente, completely ignoring Shuey's glances toward him. "Two is company, three's entirely too large a crowd for me."
He made his way to the door, and opened it, waiting for the newcomer, another Slytherin whose name he didn't know, to either be invited inside or move out of his way.

Ryan steped back guessing the person was leaveing the compartment and not opening the door for him. Most people just said to come in when you knock on the door. He said nothing as person opened the door. He noticed he was a Slytherin but did not really care. He tryed to remember what the persons name was but could not remember hearing it in any classes which most likely ment he had probobly not been in any classes with this person before.
