The halls bustled with students heading to their classes. They were all here to learn about role play. Where were they? Harebell's Role Play Academy, of course! The school was run by Mistress Chance Harebell and was open to all ages. Mrs. Harebell herself was more then happy to answer any students' questions. Currently, she was rekaxing in her office, admiring her name plaque. She could see her reflection in the gold if she looked hard enough.

((LOL well clearly at least since 4/18... silly janitor.))
Stardragon stood at the head of her empty classroom wondering when on earth she was going to get any students! Apparently Historical Role-play was just not popular with this younger crowd.

What a surprise. Zi had found that obnoxious during her active pirateing days....

John Doe walked through the halls of the academy, awed by the apparent lack of organization in the hall layout. He would surely know the school well by the time he found a class to attend.
Eventually, he found more or less what he was looking for: a class that was not yet in session. The door probably mentioned what class was held there, but John didn't pay much attention to that. He just went in and sat down like a good little student, smiling widely at the teacher who stood at the front of the classroom. Apparently, he was the first one there.

Professor Kaida Kasai ecstatically doodled various creatures on the marker erase board. It would have ben easier to draw on a chalk board but she hated the sound of the chalk against the board. She glanced up at the eerie clock that hung above her. Classes would not start for a good five minutes at least. She sighed.
Today was the academy's first day. There was little chance of having many attending students. Well, Kasai thought to heself, if I don't have any students I'll just go bother the other teachers. She had to bite down on her thumb to keep from laughing. She could not wait for the day to begin.

((Ack sorry Idiot, missed this somehow.))
Stardragon was delighted to get a student! "Welcome to Historical Role-Play class! I'm the teacher Star. Who are you?" She asked looking down at her class roster, which was empty.

"John Doe," John replied. "I'm not sure if there's a class I'm supposed to be in, so I guess I might as well be in this one."

Christine stumbled down the long hallways mumbling nervously to herself. She had no idea where she was going or what class she was meant to be in. She looked down the empty hallways and whimpered. "Now i'm lost" She said rubbing th back of her neck.

"Historical Role-play." Star replied waving her arms about grandly. "Here we learn how to correctly role-play a figure of some historical type. Everything from pirates, to kings, to gods and goddesses." She explained. "So what types of historical figures do you like to play?"

"I've always wanted to play a peasant from the dark ages," John Doe explained, his smile getting bigger all the time. "I've noticed that a lot of people don't like playing the common folk. Is there a reason for that?"

"Yes there is." Star replied with a big smile as she warmed to her topic. "Most folks think that your average peasants life is dull and nothing ever really happens. And they would be accurate in that assessment of olden days life. However what they need to realise is that no matter what real life would be like, this is a Role Play. And no main character is going to have an event free existance. Plus it is simply not logical for all the characters to be great and wonderous or of a high rank. Everyone starts somewhere, and starting as a simple peasant that becomes the hero of the world is often much more satisfying that being the Hero of the world for the third or fourth time." She expounded.
"In addition a peasant turned adventurer has a lot less restrictions than, say a Knight of the Realm. Folks expect a Knight to be kind and righteous and brave. No one expects that of a simple farmer per se, so when said farmer is the hero of the day rather than the Knight, it's much more fun." She added with a smile.
