Hiei buried his face in one hand, shaking his head.
"Thank the gods I look human enough not to draw so much attention..." he muttered, raising his head, a slightly exasxperated expression on his face as he fingered his headband absently.

"Oh, is that so?"
Sesshoumaru smirked and deftly slashed outwards with his blade. Hiei's headband fell in two pieces, revealing what was beneath it.
(I'm so evil...>:3)

Hiei's red eyes widened as his headband fell away, revealing his jagan eye.
"Dammit, Sesshoumaru!" he hissed, glaring at Sesshoumaru.
((Can't wait to see SD the student's reaction to the third eye... *sweatdrop* Oh, boy... XD))

"Waaah!!!" SD jumped, dropped her sword, her eyes widened, and she actually backed away so fast that she tripped over her own feet and fell hard on her butt. "TRI--CLOPS!!" she yelled, pointing up at Hiei. She scrambled away to the other side of the room, crabwalk-style, and sat there, staring at Facepaint Man and Shorty-Triclops in fear.

Hiei covered his face with one hand.
"Oh, gods..." he muttered, shaking his head.
Sheathing his sword, he dug around in his pockets, looking for a new headband. He always carried spares...

Sesshoumaru smirked.
"Interesting name for you, that," he sneered. "Tri-clops..."
He sheathed his blade and settled to the ground. Today's class wasn't terribly instructional...

SD still cowered in the corner, trembling violently. Who are these people? she wondered to herself, fearfully. What kinds of teachers does that headmistress have?? Freaks...

Hiei scowled at Sesshoumaru, then glanced at SD. Shrugging, he finally managed to dig one of his spare headbands out of his pocket. Still scowling darkly, he pulled it on, sliding it snugly over his jagan.
Stalking over to the side of the dojo farthest away from the terrified student, he drew his katana and began slashing, spinning, ducking, and flipping, faster than any human eyes could follow. Slowing down slightly, he glanced over his shoulder at Sesshoumaru.
"At least my body has remained whole..." he pointed out.
His lip curled slightly, and he added, under his breath, "Although I've had at least one close call..."
He glanced at his bandaged right arm, thinking about the first few times he had ever summoned the powerful Dragon of the Darkness Flame.
Now, he was lucky. He could now summon the Dragon twice before depleting his aura. The only price he paid now was losing all his strength and having to sleep for a while and regain it.
The first few times he had summoned the Dragon, though, he hadn't been so lucky. He had almost lost his right arm, at least twice. The immense power of the Dragon had burned his arm severely, and he had had to endure some intense pain. The fact that the Dragon had utterly depleted his aura made the pain even worse, otherwise he would have been able to tolerate it rather well.
'Thank the gods I've finally mastered the summoning of the Dragon...' the fire demon thought, shaking off this contemplative mood and speeding up again.

Sesshoumaru kept his cool expression, but inside him was a burning rage that screamed to be released.
"Just because I only have one arm does not mean that I cannot fight," he growled calmly. "I daresay I need not prove it to you."

SD began to slowly scuttle her way across the back of the room furtively, trying to make it to the door. Her eyes were trained on her sword, lying in almost the direct center of the room. It was a rather precious family heirloom, and she needed to get it back before she left...but how to do so without the weirdos noticing her?

Sesshoumaru's golden eyes flicked to the blade in the center of the room and he sighed, walking over to it and picking it up as easily as if it were a toothpic.
"Take your blade and come back tomorrow. Perhaps then we will be,"--he searched for the best way to put it--"in a better mood with each other. It would do you well to learn how to use that blade."
(And I actually have some knowledge on how to, as well...I'm not just a teacher having fun here.)

(((I'm sure you do. That's why I came here, as well. I don't know a lot. What kinds of stuff are you actually gonna teach me?)))
"Eep!" the squeak escaped SD's lips as she realized Sesshoumaru saw her. She slowly stood, hesitantly, and inched her way to the middle of the floor to retrieve her sword. Her eyes never left the tall demon with the weird markings.

Hiei shook his head, pausing briefly and closing his burning crimson eyes. Breathing deeply, he forced himself to remain calm. Shoving all else to the back of his mind, he exhaled slowly.
Slowly, slowly, the tense muscles in his back, neck, and shoulders relaxed as he emptied his mind with the ease of long practice.
Sighing quietly as he slowly opened his eyes, he sheathed his sword, then leaned against the wall of the dojo. Sliding down the wall, he sat at the base, watching SD sharply.

(Not anything technical, since all I know is what I see and that sort of stuff...forgive me, but I'm not a true swords master, lol. I just notice things. I'll research though.
Btw, Sesshoumaru's holding your sword, SD.)

(((Oo...missed that factoid...*Modifies*)))
(((Awesome, Sessh!)))
SD felt eyes on her as she approached Sesshoumaru. She glanced at Hiei, and flinched as she saw his red eyes burn into hes. She quickly turned away, and stared, not into Sesshoumaru's eyes, but at the crescent on his forehead. "Do...those markings mean anything?" she asked tentatively, her voice barely audible.
