Hiei Jaganshi lounged against a wall inside the dojo, bored. "What's the point of running a fight dojo if you don't have any students?" he grumbled, fiddling absently with a small, blue, round pendant he had pulled from a pocket of his black cloak. He sighed heavily. He couldn't remember a time when he had ever been more bored.
(('Kay, Sesshoumaru-sensei. Time for your intro. Also, which of our characters is gonna be the "head instructor", the sensei? Or are both just gonna be equal? ^^))

Likewise bored out of his mind, Sesshoumaru tapped his claws on the hilt of his Tenseiga. Clad in silken clothes that were a fair bit more well-suited to teaching idiots how to make the pretense of being smart.
Absently, he wondered how long they would have to wait before others joined the class.
(I say let them be equal...but they won't act the part. XD.)

((Of course. They're both quite arrogant... *sweatdrop* Eheheheh... Oh, boy... What have wwe gotten ourselves into? ^^u))
Hiei rolled his eyes and tucked the necklace back into his pocket, standing up. His red eyes flicked over to Sesshoumaru, and he rested a hand on the hilt of his katana casually. "Oi, Sesshoumaru, feel like a bit of sparring? Considering that we don't have any students to teach yet?" he asked, a bit of a grin spreading slowly across his face.

"Would you make it worth my time?" the taiyoukai asked, pausing in his tapping to glance at Hiei.
A bit of sparring would distract him from the empty classroom...

Hiei drew his katana, one eyebrow arched. "Watch it... Speedwise, we're practically equal, I believe. Just remember... Be careful what you ask for. You might just get it," he informed the taiyoukai, flinging his black cloak and white scarf to one side and crouching, his katana held in front of him in a ready position. His bare feet slid easily over the polished wood floor of the dojo, as he had kicked his shoes off upon entering, as was customary.
((05-09-06 EDIT:I almost forgot about the "no shoes" bit of a dojo! ^.^u Oops!))

Sesshoumaru smirked, taking off his haori and setting it aside before pulling his undershirt off and letting it hang at his waist.
"I do not underestimate you," he said evenly, drawing his Tenseiga.
And he didn't underestimate Hiei; he would never have had to take off his shirts unless he feared overheating during a fight. Hiei's speed matching his own could cause that...
Stepping back into a fighting position that looked awkward as he only had one arm, Sesshoumaru stood ready for Hiei's blow.

Hiei's bare feet pushed suddenly against the floor, propelling him very swiftly towards Sesshoumaru, his movements practically invisible to any observers...

Tracking Hiei by scent, sight, and hearing, Sesshoumaru brought his blade up to parry the other demon's blow swiftly.

A girl with long, bright red hair, matching crimson eyes, a black dress, and a very dangerous-looking sword sat outside, on the roof of the dojo she should have been inside, taking lessons. She was lying on her back, arms beneath her head, staring up at the sky. The sword was to her right, gleaming in the sun, its wicked curved blade warning all the world not to mess with its owner.
But, there was one problem. The girl didn't know how to use it. Well, she coulnd't use it properly, at least. Anyone could hold a sharp stick by the handle and swing it at an enemy, hoping to do damage...but the girl wanted more.
That's why she had signed up for this class.
Well, that was al least why she had signed up a few weeks ago. Now, she really didn't want to do this...As the days had come closer and closer to the beginnings of classes, she'd realized that she didn't want some older guy or girl yelling at her for no reason and hitting her and hurting her and all that...
...Plus, she was really lazy...
...But, she knew she had to, eventually...
Feh, maybe if they really are as good as I think, they'll just know I'm up here and get me themselves...
(((heh, how's that for an intro?)))

((Nice. ^^ Hiei-sensei should know already, and so should Sesshoumaru-sensei. ^-^))
Hiei flipped backwards, landing silently in a crouch a few feet away from Sesshoumaru. Glancing up towards the ceiling, he frowned. "What the hell is someone doing up the roof?" he muttered, then glanced at Sesshoumaru. "I'm going to go check. Be right back." He disappeared out the door, not even bothering to retrieve his shoes.
Reappearing on the roof, a few feet away from the red-haired girl, Hiei raised an eyebrow, resting his katana casually on his shoulder. "And you would be...?"

"Feh. It took him that long to notice?" Sesshoumaru murmured to himself. He'd caught the girl's scent some time ago, but he wasn't concerned with her if she didn't enter the dojo.
Casually, he began practicing basic katas with one arm, waiting Hiei.

"Name's Shadow. Well, ShaodwDragon...You can call me either of those, or SD, for short." SD sat up, and turned to look up at Hiei. "My dad was weird like that in naming us...You should head some of my siblings' names...an' I'm not even gonna mention my cousins..." SD smirked, picking up her sword, and standing. "Wow...you're pretty short...ya know that? And I though I was vertically challenged...Nice hair, by the way. You must put a lot of gel in it to get it to stand up like that..." Standing, SD was about two inches above Hiei's shoulders. He was at least six, maybe more, inches, taller than she. "Tryin' ta make yourself look taller like that? How'd ya know I was up here, by the way?"
(((Wow...if that didn't just officially tick Hiei off, I dunno what will...she must've insulted him, like...four times in that monologue...lol)))
