(Thank you, Head Mistress)
Pyris stocked her desk with what she considered "class necessities." She flipped her super-flippy hair and smiled happily. "Class is now in session. Please sit in your seats and prepare to take notes....Or draw little doodles while pretending to pay attention."

Lob rushed halfway through the door, slammed his hand on the door frame, and came to a sudden stop. "I'm not late am I Miss. Pyris." Lob huffed and puffed trying to catch his breath.

Snickering slightly, she looked at her watch. "Not just yet. Sit down, and tell me your name." She waved a hand towards an empty desk.

SD yawned from the back of the class. She had no idea how she had gotten here...Or how she was in two places at once...But of Lob could pull it off, then apparently so could she. She's probably meet up with herself later and freak herself out. She looked forward to it.
She snorted as Lob hit his head, and wondered how much it hurt. It didn't seem to faze him in the least...

Lob walked over to the seat Pyris seat. He was still breathing heavy. " This oughta be fun." He sat down and pulled out a notebook and pencil. "I'm ready to learn." He tried to set there and listen, but his imagination got the better of him and he immediately began drawing doodles in his notebook only half listening to the instructor.

Pyris cackled and thought for a moment. "Okay, Lob. Since you feel your drawing is SO much more important, tell me this. If your making a sourceress, what would her weakpoint/downfall be? What kind of weapon would she wield? Would she have one element stronger than the others? Her personality? Did you know, many personalities are dependent on the characters type/species?" She stood before the new student in an intimidating fashion. "Then again, I WAS the one who said you could doodle in my class instead of listen....I didn't mention that you would fail the test if you didn't though, did I? Life lessons, people, life lessons."

Lob scrambled to cover the picture in his note book. "What, huh, what test." He quickly looked at his instructor like she had his full attention the whole time, although it was obvious she didn't. None the less he was able to piece bits and pieces of what she had said. "Oh, sorceresses. Well in D&D I always tried to make them kind of like a mutant in X-men comics. Their power is usually their greatest strength and flaw. They usually only have one "element" that they have natural control over, but not restricted from learning other spells. Say like I was making a time sorcerer, well then he could freeze or speed up time, among what ever other spells he may have learned. The draw back would be that it accelerates his age whenever he uses his time powers." Lob felt he had dodged a bullet as he looked at the overbearing instructor with low hopeful eyes.

Pyris smiled gleefully. "Good boy, you just might pass my class...." She turned back towards her desk and walked in front of the class. "Oh, and the test I might give will be later on in the semester.... She finally noticed SD and waved happily. "Glad you could make it, SD."

SD waved back. "Glad I could too, though, if you see my doppleganger around, don't be alarmed. I'm somehow in Star's room as well...But the sane part of me came here." SD grinned, casually covering her own notebook. Truth be told, she hadn't been doodling, but answering Lob's question her own way.
Those drawings at the margin? Oh, they've always been there...

Snickering, Pyris replied, "I didn't know you had a sane half, my friend." Grinning, she prepared to teach... "I'm not a great teacher, and I'll tell you this now. But I will teach you what you need to know, just enough to understand it. That way, the rest of it's all you. You're character, your mind. I just want to you be able to think logically about the characters you create. For example, if you were creating a centaur...You wouldn't give him wings.....Unless you were in a freak rp...then it's okay."

Lob perked up when he heard the instructor say something about winged centaurs. "Eww, that sounds cool." He then flipped the page in his notebook and began drawing one. He looked up in the air with his tongue partially poking out.*I wonder how it would look with a horn.* he thought to himself.

"Um excuse me Miss Pyris. But winged centaurs are found in Xanth role-plays." Spoke Bri from the doorway. Her own wings were folded so that they cloaked her back like a feather cape. She stepped into the the room with a small smile. "And that's not a freak RP, though in the case of winged centaurs they are very rare and are considered freaks by the purist centaurs, though not generally by the rest of Xanth." She added.
"Sorry I'm late." Bri said as she took a seat. "I had a bit of a problem getting here today." She added with a shrug that rippled the feathers of her wings, disloging a loose one to flutter down without her noticing.

Pyris grinned as Bri walked in. "I'm glad I have a student that actually knows something. I'm sorry your late too, but it doesn't change the fact that you are." Pyris shrugged. "For all you know, I could've been the late one...Then what would've happened? So, better you than me, have a seat, dear."

Bri looked confused. "Ummm I just did ma'am." She replied, but immediately changed the topic not wanting to seem like she was trying to embarrass the instructor. "This is Character Creation yes? I'd like to learn how to create a non-magical but interesting character that does not have trauma of all kinds in thier history to 'make them intersting'." She said as she folded her hands in front of her on the school desk.
