SD stared at Bri. OH--EM--GEE!! SHE--HAS--WINGS!!! They're white and pretty, like mine were before!! Unconsciously, the muscles in SD's back tightened, as though longing to bring her own wings out. No...I can't show them...People would ask too many questions. SD didn't like questions about herself, and no one knew that she had wings.
"What's your name?!" SD blurted out. "Are you an angel??" soon followed. Bri had sat kinda close to her, in the row next to her and a couple seats ahead. The feather on the ground was practically screaming for attention. She glanced down at it, wanting it, but not wanting to make a show of getting up and picking it up. It's so pretty...

Bri turned to look at the person that had spoke. "An angel? No. Just a winged girl. There are a few of them in Xanth too. I like the idea." She said with a grin. "I'm Bri by the way." She introduced herself.

"Oh." SD's face fell a bit, but it didn't last. Her smile was back soon enough. "How'd you get wings, then?" She didn't even realize she was interrupting class.
(((Wait for Pyris?)))

Pyris stared blankly at the two enjoying conversation. "Well......" She sighed and plopped into her cool rolly chair, sticking her legs on the desk. "If your non-magical character is boring, create an interesting, perky, or silent personality....Blah blah blah...It's not like anyone's listening...They'd rather talk about wings and whatnot....Maybe I shall take a nap."

Bri had smiled at the other girls about to answer when Pyris began speaking, or mumbling anyway. "But I am listening Ma'am. I've never been able to create a silent personality they always end up talking too much, and perky gets annoying more often than it is interesting. So that's what I want to know, how to make them interesting without being annoying or something equally cliche." She said.

Sighing, Pyris sat upright. "If you plan to make a unique character without making a superhero of some type, make them have an interesting personality. Like a high school roleplay about regular high school students. When Bunny was still around, we roleplayed in a roleplay called Haunted High School. We stopped playing after a while, because it's just no fun with only two roleplayers. Anyway, it was about a normal high school, with normal students, surveillanced by a serial killer. The serial killer didn't have special powers, but he was interesting, because he was insane....and killing people. My character's name was Sammie. She was an upbeat high school student who loved to study hauntings. Being upbeat, she tried to put an optimistic view on things. And Will's char, always put a more logical, pecimistic view. This made an interesting character interaction...The two contradicted each other, making the roleplay last a little longer than it normally would have if the character personalities were alike. My character was interesting because her views and opinions were always different......" Getting sick of talking, Pyris added, "and whatnot." I don't think I'm a very good teacher...I'm not making a whole lot of sense......

SD cringed, and slid down in her seat, a deep blush spreading across her cheeks. I'm sorry, Pyris, she thought to her self silently.
I won't talk anymore unless called on, she promised the teacher.

Pyris rose an eyebrow as SD slid down in her chair. "Is something wrong, dear?" she directed to ShadowDragon. "Answer me this, please. What are the basic requirements for a profile?"

Bri thought she knew the answer but she wanted to let others have a chance at the easier bits so she bit her lip and stayed silent, or tried to. But the little sucking noise coming through her teeth as she bit her lip wasn't as quiet as she thought it was. Besides she wanted to ponder what pyris had said too, it hadn't exactly answered her question of 'How' to make a persona intersting to be told to make an interesting one....

Pyris fiddled with a nearby wand. She glanced around the room, waiting for eager students to raise their hands....Even though the question was directed to SD.
Impatient creatures.

*Well if no one else is gonna answer.* Lob thought to himself as he raised his hand. "Miss Pyris I think I know." Lob kept his hand raised and waited patiently for the instructor to call on someone to answer her question.

Battting her eyes impatiently at ShadowDragon, Pyris called on Lob. "Yes dear?" Look what I've gotten myself into....Didn't I say I was a crappy teacher....Ah, let's hope I do a good enough job. That way I can escape the wrath of the Mistress.....

"Name, appearance, and personality?" Lob looked embarassed and hoped SD didn't feel he was trying to upstage her by answering her question. "Everything else just seems like filler or side notes for the characters story to me."

"Yes..I guess those would be the three basic...But other basics are: History, Gender, and Weapon/abilities." She stepped up to the board, but wrote nothing on it. "Weapon choices also add to the personality of your character. If he's an up-close-and-personal person..He needs an up-close-and-personal weapon. A good example of that type of weapon is the basic sword." As she spoke, words appeared on the board. "Weapons can also demonstrate origin. As an example: A Japanese character would probably wield a Japanese weapon. Such as a samurai sword. Any questions?"

"What about natural weapons?" Bri asked. "Like claws and such, do they go under weapons or under description or both?" She asked, shifting a bit in her seat and losing another feather in the process.
