Viorel pushed a small green button and the sleak black van door slid open quickly, "Don't bother with buckling your seat belt, one hundred should be enough to beat these clowns." He smiled his little smug smile and shifted the van into gear waiting for his two partners in crime to climb in.

Swiftly, S'ven launched himself into the van, collapsing into a seat beside Rinne. He took a deep breath as he calmed himself. "Yeah, in my vest pocket," he replied, flashing Rinne a quick grin. He liked Rinne, to an extent, though she disturbed him just a little. He patted the pocket against his heart. "Mister Loki better be happy with it... I feel dizzy." He put a hand to his forehead to wipe away a bit of bloody sweat.

"You're such a wimp," Mora called from the front seat as she climbed in to the van. "Aren't vampires supposed to be all-powerfull or something?" She asked, closing the door.

Rinne laughed quietly. It was a rather quiet noise, slightly similar to the tinkling of bells, that hardly rose above the sound of a starting engine. They handled it marvelously, why was she so worried before? It had been ages since she had grown attatched to people, after all. Maybe it was how she and S'ven seemed to relate surprisingly quickly, or maybe she was just getting tired of turning people away. Noting the small beads of red forming on S'ven's forehead, Rinne pulled a small white hankerchief from her jacket pocket and offered it to him. "Don't worry about the stains. Good job." Amazingly enough, she seemed rather... Normal, at that time.
Mora's statement would change that in an instant.
"Aren't vampires meant to be all powerful or something," she repeated quietly, staring at Mora with a gaze that could have frozen Hell over. "It comes with age, human. I hear attaining the knowledge not to bite off more than you can chew comes with age for your kind. I fear you have a long while to wait." Her usually serene tone was slowly becoming quieter. More dangerous. It was no surprise S'ven sometimes found his elder disturbing - It was in her nature to lose it like that. Call it some leftover teenage hormones from life or how she seemed to hate everyone on certain days of the week (especially Wednesdays. Those were the worst). The two were probably linked.
"I'd like to see you do better, Mora." The demand was hardly audible at this point. Traces of Rinne's natural Austrian accent were beginning to come through, but a grin wider than the Chesire Cat's prevented her from speaking any further. Content with the result she would probably recieve, Rinneleine sat back in her uncomfortable seat and stared at the roof of the vehicle.

S'ven gratefully accepted the little hankerchief, hesitating for a moment to ruin it with blood stains. But at Rinne's words he gave the other a small smile before wiping away at the blood on his forehead. At Mora's words, he frowned, gazing anxiously between Rinne and his partner. He knew the human really didn't mean what she'd said. It was more of a joke between them to make fun of each other. But as he heard Rinne softly repeat the words, he knew the other vampire did not see it that way. Hesitantly, he put a hand on her shoulder, ready to jerk it back should she decide to forcefully remove said hand. "She doesn't mean it," he murmured as Rinne finished. "Thank you, but it was merely a joke. She does as well as I, this mission was merely more stressful than I had imagined. She's trying to lighten the mood." S'ven did not like to fight. He especially did not like it when his team mates fought.

Vi looked into the rear view mirror, "If your done talking, then I think we might need to get out of here." He revved the engine a couple of times. He quite enjoyed the humans contraptions, they made him feel...alive. The werewolf slammed his foot on the gas and tried as hard as he could to get the van to go at it's top speed. It barely reached one hundred miles per hour when it soared over that edge of the up coming hill instead of going over it. The van sored for a little while until it hit the ground with a loud crashing sound. Viorel just kept going.

Mora gripped the sides of her seat in the front of the van. "Ya know," She said, trying to keep her voice from jolting along with the van, "Normally a front row seat is a good thing." The van jolted again. "But now I'm kinda wishing I was in the back."

Common sense was pretty much shoved out the proverbial window, but it eventually began to return. Very slowly, of course, but one could basically watch the cogs slow down in Rinne's head. She looked up at Mora and dipped her head for maybe a few seconds before straightening up again. The thought Rinne wanted to voice came shakily, "Sorry, Mora. I guess I just need to get out more." Yeah, sure, that was it. Blame being stuck in the underground for being a moody, overreacting psycho. One half of her was screaming to smack Mora upside the head, the other half quietly protesting. And for now, the less violent side of her would win. Common sense came flooding back, and for lack of a better thing to do, Rinne returned to the subject of the hankerchief. "A little cold water and peroxide should handle it, don't worry."
The van came crashing down against the ground, but amazingly enough continued going. Rinne seemed to be a little shaken from the surprise - Or at least V's driving skills, and sank back into her chair more. Uncomfortable, yes, but also a little... safer?

S'ven nodded, relieved, and handed the handkerchief to her, after neatly folding it. "Thank you, Miss Rinne," he murmured, removing his hand from her shoulder. He lurched forward in his seat as the van hit a bump, narrowly missing hitting his head on the seat in front of him. "Vi, would you bloody slow it down?! I'm going to hurl..." His cheeks were flushed with blood, showing that he'd recently fed. He was sick enough as it was, as his victim had been drunk. Had a gun not been turned on him, he would not have partaken of such at all. But as it was, S'ven's most efficient defense and offense was to drain his enemy.

"Slow down, damnit!" Mora yelled into Viorel's face. "If you don't slow down I'll blow us up!" She thought for a moment. "Ok, so I won't blow us up, but slow down anyways!"

"Any time, Mr. Truesdale." The answer was just as polite as the words that got such a response as Rinne took the hankerchief and returned it to its rightful place in her jacket lining. "I agree with Mora, Viorel. If we've shaken them off already, then feel free to slow down a little." Of course, the way she said it all implied more of a command than a pleasant request. Cars were a fairly new creation, or at least they were in comparison to Rinne's lifespan, and that gave her all the more reason to dislike them. She disliked what she didn't understand, most of the time. Escape routes were no different.

Viorel slammed on the break as they arrived at the trashy down town of New York City. The van skidded a few feat and its back end twisted around backing itself into the "No Parking!" sign in front of old unused subway system, and then proceeded to roll over said sign and parked in the abandoned ware house a little farther back.

S'ven was out of the van before it even fully stopped, leaning heavily against a wall. He took a deep breath before turning back to the others. "Kay, let's get underground," he murmured, glancing out a window at the sky above. He wanted to be back to the base and in his room long before the sun came into the sky. Even in the shelter of the warehouse, what little light that would get in would damage his overly sensitive skin. Plus, he was feeling steadily more lightheaded and knew the only cure for that was to sleep it off. He took comfort in the fact that the drunkard whose blood he'd had to consume was quite thoroughly dead.

Mora hopped out of the van, straightening the jacket she had pulled on before they got out of the vehicle. "Aw, no celebration feast?" She pouted a little but shrugged it off quickly.

Shortly after S'ven got out of the van, Rinne hopped down from her seat. Her hands were against her temples, massaging them in hopes of fighting back the ensuing nausea. She and her strangely similar comrade still had some time left before dawn, for which she was thankful. It didn't slow the spinning of the warehouse, nor did the thought comfort her now uneasy stomach, but Rinne would simply have to hold out until they got back 'home'. Sleep sounded really quite good at that point, especially since she had been too busy with finding the best time to get that disk. Her research would often carry well into the day, and even then, sleep would only come for a few hours at a time. "I hate cars," she muttered below her breath, though that comment wasn't aimed at anyone but herself. She looked up at Mora, who was saying something about a celebration feast. "I think I'll pass, this time." A smile managed to find its way to Rinne's lips, and it almost looked genuine. Was she amused? Not even she knew. Random mood swings were probably her most confusing trait, and they kicked in far too often to be healthy.
