[glow=red,2,300]Approved[/glow] Owner: Lob Hero Name: Nightwing Real Name: Dick Grayson Age: 23 Picture/Description: Personality: Adopted and raised by Batman, Robin took on many of his mentor's traits. Strong will, vigilance, meticulous attention to detail, are all words that describe this young hero. Alignment/Rank: Hero Group: Outsiders Powers: Trained as a circus performer from an early age. Natural athlete and highly trained detective. Master of several martial arts but favors Aikido and Jeet-Kune-Do. Weaknesses: Even with all the training and gadgets, he is just a mortal man. Family: Bruce Wayne/Batman (adopted father), John Grayson (Deceased), Mary Grayson (Deceased) Background: Dick Grayson was the only son of the famous Flying Graysons, a husband and wife acrobatic and high wire circus act with Haly's Circus. When he was ten, Dick's parents were killed by the mob when the owner of the circus refused to participate in a protection racket. Dick watched his parents fall to their deaths after a mob man, under the control of Tony "Boss" Zucco, cut their line during a performance. Orphaned, Dick was adopted by multi-millionaire Bruce Wayne, who attended the circus that night and witnessed the murder. Dick soon discovered that Bruce Wayne was actually The Batman, Gotham City's infamous masked vigilante. Bruce took Dick under his wing and trained him with the skills that he had acquired when becoming Batman. Dick became Batman's partner, the first Robin, The Boy Wonder. Over the next nine years Dick and Bruce formed a father/son relationship, Bruce becoming the father that Dick lost and Dick becoming the son Bruce could never have. Dick also formed some relationships outside of the Batcave, becoming the leader of The New Teen Titans for many years. He tried college for a while at Hudson University but when it didn't work out for him he returned to Gotham. After a near fatal shooting by The Joker, Batman felt strongly that he could no longer endanger Dick's life. The two split and Dick soon abandoned the identity of Robin and became Nightwing. Other:

Approved Lob, but the image link is broken. I looked at the info for it and it seems to be a direct link from another site? Unless it's your site you need to save the picture into a place like photobucket and then link from there. Direct linking from a site not your own is stealing bandwidth and most folks have that blocked nowadays.

[glow=red,2,300]Approved[/glow] Owner: Star Villain Name: Spellbinder (the 3rd version) Real Name: Rahu Age: 43 Picture/Description: Spellbinder wears a red cape over a grey suit. It has three black-rimmed eye holes. Personality: Mysterious in the extreme, very little to nothing is known about him other than the belief that his 'third eye' came about through intense meditation studies somewhere in the Far East. No one knows his name. The fact that he is a thief leads one to think he must not be very morale, but as one who has purified himself to the level of attaining the third eye he is in fact a very morale person, they just aren't the same morales as general society. Alignment/Rank: Villain (semi-neutral) Group: Unaffiliated Powers: Spellbinder has a third eye which he acquired whilst meditating in the far east. This gives him the ability to induce hallucinations in others, a power he uses to steal from Gotham City's wealthiest citizens. Weaknesses: Other than his illusion ability he is a normal human. Family: Unknown Background: Able to induce realistic, in both sight and feeling, hallucinations into his victims, Spellbinder is capable of doing this because he possesses a "third eye." Bruce Wayne explained it to Alfred thusly, "During my studies in the Far East, I learned of a remote temple, whose monks performed a particularly intense form of meditation, believed to lead to that which only a few could achieve--the mystic power of the third eye. A state of awareness so pure or potent, one could project ones visions into reality."
