Sooo... how does this decision get made? Should we post here our ideas for a clan and all the details and then you'll pick the ones best suited for the game to be the main and then minor clans? Or some alteration thereof?
*grin* I'm anxious to get this all settled can you tell? LOL

May I propose my newer character's line as one of the main clans? Then Yuki's line would be a minor, or possibly a main one... Please? ^^

Well a bit more spelling out from you and a vague deadline might move some faster, I'm fairly ready myself lol. In fact here is my Bloodline idea.
Bloodline Name: Hemovora
Method of Turning: Blood exchange, 1 for a human servant, 3 to turn to Vampire.
Bloodline Attributes: Paler than normal complexion, 2-10 times human strength (stronger as get older), allergy to sun (too much can kill), no heartbeat (undead), death by beheading or fire, retractable fangs, perfect night vision, 5-10 times human speed (faster as they get older), accelerated healing (faster as they get older, fresh blood accelerates it further), as get older/stronger they are able to exist on less and less blood and so feed less often.
Bloodline Powers: At Turning- Strength, Speed, Vision, Healing. Some powers usually gained with age- Transformation (usually 2-3 forms since it takes years to master one) Animal Telepathy (to hear/understand animal thoughts and to speak back) Human Telepathy Coersion (eyes and voice first, as grow older and stronger can be by voice only and then by mental contact only) Glamour (only gained after Coersion by voice only, least common of all powers)
Bloodline Notes: Forcing a Turning on a human earns you banishment and hunting down as a rogue vampire by lower level Hemovoras or human hunters. Going without feeding beyond thier blood limit will make a Hemovora go rogue, acting like a rampaging beast, slaughtering anything in thier path. These members are immediately hunt down by the highest trained Hemovora's of the Clan.
On another note this clan would be Marissa's Clan and so would have to be one of, if not the oldest in existance. Seeing as Marissa is over 3000. This doesn't mean it has to be a main one, but it is more likely.

Just post a bunch of info on it, Hiei, and we'll see. ;D
And we've all agreed that Garlic and crosses (Whether the vampire was previously Christian or not...?) are no use to repelling vampires, right?
I won't be accepting or declining main clans until I have enough candidates. Gotta make things fair, hmm?

We agreed on the garlic. But I think most of us thought that if the vampire had been Christian they would be affected, or would think they would be affected maybe... You know like if you beleive something enough it becomes real to you. Same would probably go for other religions and thier holy symbols. But of course I'm fine with them simply not being a factor at all. They won't affect most of Hemovora either way because it was founded before most modern religions

Garlic is kind of an "herbal medicine" in my viral vampires... A weak one, sure, but it still annoys.

Meh...personally, I don't like having only three main clans.
I don't think there should be any main clans. I was always under the impression that Vampires are mainly solitary creatures, without structured...governments, or whatever you wanna call their rulers...
But since everyone else seems to be on the same page, and I'm not even playing a Vamp charrie, I suppose I'll sit back and let you guys decide this.
But I'll put my two cents in where it may apply.

Oh! That reminds me.
Hey, Kuro, can I post my idea for TH-VA? The Humanic-Vampiric Alliance?
I think it's about time we told the others about it...I think we've reached a agreement, well enough...

Yes, feel free. -nod-
And as for clans, even though the vampires in that clan are in the same bloodline, they probably remain solitary. I guess a Bloodline would be a better term, ne? It doesn't necessarily mean that they're in one kind of brothel-esque thing, just it's the defining traits of different species, so to speak, of vampires.

Awesome. I get it.
*Assumes commanding tone* Okay, guys! Here was my idea, liked by Kuro when I PM-ed him HER about it.
This is the PM I sent Kuro, with a few revisions:
...About this little organization of ours...
Okay, so I was going to have it be far more than just dedicated to curing Vampirism, which was what Kuro had intially proposed.
I was going to have it be a base for most Hunters. I.E. where Kratos gets his stuff, like the all-blessed holy water and other items from. Sort of like a market that sells it. It might even require a membership of Hunters, and Kratos could get missions and stuff from it, like, to hunt down rougue or evil Vampires, etc...
I had nemed it The Humanic-Vampiric Alliance--a.k.a. TH-VA, or the Alliance. An organization dedicated to the harmonic relationship of humans and Vampires.
It could also be in charge of things like assigning humans who would willingly give fresh blood for the exhilaration of it to Vampires who put in requests and stuff...And it could be in charge of the blood banks...
...And, it could also have several Vampries who have willingly joined the Alliance for research purposes...
And also act as a sort of resting place for Hunter like Kratos, or a hospital to nurse the injured...
There could be a whole host of people who work or live there--Nurses, Scientists, Vampires, donor humans, Hunters, Merchants, all sorts of fun stuff could happen with this.
I'll revise it later, to form a more complete idea.

Seeing as my char used to work at a clinic trying to cure vampires, I'm sure she would jump at the chance to join such an alliance.

Marissa is also of the type that she would likely be allies with this sort of group. Oh and I actually like the title Bloodlines better than clan as well Kuro Because yeah on the whole vampires are solitary and would only meet once in a while for any sort of organized 'governing'. And that would I think be within and up to each Bloodline individually, no one big 'over all clans/bloodlines' council or anything. Just what each wants to do to keep thier own Bloodline in control etc. I've actually seen several different book series tha thad an all powerful Council for thier vampires. And they usually work out well in thoery, in actuality they rarely had much local power.
