"Understandable, I suppose..." Kratos relaxed, though only slightly. "Well, then...I suppose I should ask your name now. Care to tell me what it is?"

"Lucielle. Lucielle Dellmonte," She replied, nodding her head once and smirking. "And you needn't tell me yours, Mister Aurion. Let's say your reputation preceeds you. That, and it's funny the things people say just before they...leave."

Kratos, who wanted nothing more then to get back to his room to retrieve his other anti-Vampire affects, sighed, realizing that this girl, Lucielle, was goading him into asking questions. "What do you mean, 'leave'?"

Lucielle giggled. "Isn't that obvious?" I guess I was wrong in thinking he was as smart as he seemed. A shame. Though, it was rather obvious, since she had a rather large, practically unbreakable scythe at her side.

Kratos narrowed his eyes. "Too uncomfortable with murder to call it by name?" he asked coldly. "Or perhaps that is your feeble attempt at tact. I still think you're very childish, despite your apparent age." He disliked the way the girl was laughing. Mainly because she was laughing at him. He turned, and began to walk away. "Since I seemed to have unknowingly started this conversation, I am now going to end it. Farewell." His voice had a hard, annoyed egde to it, and his crossbow flashed as he walked off.

Lucielle smirked. "I can call murder whatever I please, since I seem to know quite a bit more of it than you, kind sir." She cleared her throat, though stayed exactly where she was standing. "To commit Homicide; Slay, Massacre, Slaughter, 'Finish off', Carnage, butchery, eliminate. The act of simply killing in cold blood, nothing more. Does that suffice, Sir? " She called, amusement clear in her voice.

Kratos didn't reply. He had now chosen to ignore Lucielle, as any response whatsoever would only prolong the conversation he needed to end to get back to his room. Is she trying to be funny, or intelligent? Because that was neither. I thought Vampires were supposed to be much smarter than that...Though perhaps the mixed blood doesn't have quite that effect...
(((Hey, btw...does Lucielle have any powers and/or need to drink blood to survive like normal Vampires?)))

((I'm guessing she needs a little blood at least once every two weeks to keep the level of blood in her level, since she still needs it to live. Powers... Nothing more than enhanced perception and such. She can probably jump pretty high now, too.))
"Have a nice evening, Kratos, sir," Lucielle called, just to end the conversation. She turned around and walked away, her scythe's handle over her shoulder. That was fun. 'Grats, Luci, you just made one more enemy in this god-forsaken war.

(((Aww...that's not fun...lol, jk)))
Kratos reached the end of the street, and, just before turning, stopped, and called back to Lucielle, "You'd better watch yourself, when next we meet, Lucielle, because, hunter or not, you are still part-Vampire, and I will not hesitate to kill you." And, with that, he disappeared around the corner.

((Though she's constantly losing her humanity, so that's likely to change. ;3 "I look forward to it," Lucielle muttered. "Until then, dear," she added, a little more loudly. She went to her house, empty, the smell of dried blood greeting her. Trotting upstairs, she pulled open the window to her room and stepped out onto the roof. Gah, now I'm bored.

Kratos reached the inn soon enough, passing the sleeping door guard soundlessly, and ascending the stairs just as quietly, slipping his key into the lock and entering his room, heading straight for the chest. If she had been a true Vampire...Kratos didn't finish the thought. He was very aware of the dangers of the night lurkers, having come very close to both dieing and being blooded on more than one occasion. He unlocked the chest, and fastened his sword belt around his waist, walking over to the window and cautiously pulling aside one of the drawn curtains to glance out at the streets.

"I. Can't. Stand. This." Lucielle yelled, extremely bored. Yes, she got bored quite easily. She jumped down from the roof, landing on her feet, and on the way, conveniently cut down a passerby who was in her way. "See you in hell," she muttered, sighing. With nothing left to do, she was forced to wander aimlessly outside areas she knew there would be vampires. And where there were vampires, there were bound to be hunters.

Amelia sat in the ice cold dark room of an inn on the outskirts of town. She polished her three daggers like it were religion before she raised and left her room. When the innkeeper would later come to see if he could get her anything for dinner he would find the room exactly like he had left it, like no one had been there before.
She walked along the deserted road, "No one ever comes this way at night, what would a young lady like your self be doing out here?" That was what the innkeeper had asked her the night before, and she didn't reply, just took the key and left. Her feet made no sound in the tar road and she listened intently to the sounds around her; a slight breeze dancing through the tall grass, a cricket chirping happily, the sound of a running sewage system near by and the distance bark of a dog. Nothing was too odd about these sounds, she could not hear the breathing of a lurking predator, hunters seemed to breath deeply, well un confident hunters did.
She was not too far for the city when she found herself taking a detour down a road in bad need of repair, the sign at the road she had just left read "Dylan's Dairy" as it's title, then around the title there were many promises such as "We use REAL milk" "Homemade cheese and creams." "We use our own cows on site." The last one is what caught her attention. Amelia hadn't had human blood in a long time, it would make her easier to track, but she still craved its taste badly, especially having to put up with barely fulfilling animal blood.
Half an hour later she was in the city, lurking quietly through the streets, sticking to the shadows, searching for a nice motel/hotel to stay in, preferably with no heaters and lots of air conditioners.
(OOC: it is non medieval right?)

ooc// You mean modern? Ja, it's set in the present.
ic// Lucielle stopped immediately, sensing another vampire drawing steadily closer. She ran back to under her house's roof. Driving her scythe intro the ground, she used it to get high enough to jump back onto her roof, her scythe still in hand. She scooted up the roof and sat down, trying to hide her presence.

Amelia heard a swift movement across the street hunter was her first thought better get out of here now....She didn't want t be caught off guard by a vampire hunter in a place she didn't know. She picked up her place, senses working overtime, ready to strike out at any attacker, her foot steps though heavy and quick still made no sound on the pavement. She turned a corner and spotted a shabby hotel called by a name it certainly didn't live up to "The Grand Hotel." She moved swiftly to its front doors, the foyer was empty, she entered, the silent bothered her. Quickly she scanned her surrounds noting the different dangers and advantages of the room in case some one unwelcoming was lurking. The red carpet was worn and molding in the corners, the walls were the color of off cream and the wallpaper was coming off the wall. In the near corner there was a decaying plant and in the far corner a brown colored desk with a gold bell on it. Amelia walked to wards the desk and rang the bell, almost straight away from a door to the left emerge a tall pale man in a black uniform "Night" he drawled in a bored tone "Want a room?" Amelia nodded, suspicious of the character. "Here, room 56, second floor, one night or two?" "One night." "That will be $50." She handed him the money, he took it, placed the key down and left through the same door he came through. OK.....
She moved to wards the stairs, there was no lift, and came to the second story, found her room, walked in, turned the air conditioner on, sat on the bed and took out a browned and worn book given to her by her mother.
