The girl halted in her steps. Her eyes growing colder, her hands tightening into fists, and her body quivering slightly. "Who ever said light meant good and dark meant evil? Who made you doubt who you are? Who made you care about thier thoughts? They are made of the exact same darkness you are made of! I created you out of the most beautiful element, into the most handsome person. Not because it masks your element, but because it flaunts it." She had to control herself from shouting. "I am the Creator. All beings here were created in my eyes, and were seen as perfect to me!" She uttered the last comment before snapping out of it. Her eyes went from cold to wide, every part of her body relaxed, and her hands drew to cover up the gasp she let out. "I'm sorry, Mister Kratos. I lost myself there. Please excuse my behaivor. In my eyes, you are perfect in every way." She nodded, and continued to walk once more.

Kratos blinked, a bead of sweat running down the side of his face. Momentarily stunned, he quickly regained himself and caught up to Aria with a few quick strides.
"No, my princess, I should apologize," he said quickly. "You are right, and I shouldn't have said that. I meant nothing against you, only the prejudice of the people." He hoped that didn't spark another bout of anger.
Inwardly, he wondered if what she had said was true, though. The handsomest, created from the most beautiful element...He had his doubts. Someone as sweet as Aria would hardly think darkness is beautiful. For why would she fear it so? And to choose wrath to pair it with. Wrath is a destructive emotion, bearing spite and revenge as children...That was a flattery attempt. A good one, to be sure, but I cannot trust its truth...

Aria looked to Kratos, a blush creeping up her cheeks. "No, Mister Kratos. I wasn't yelling at you...I was yelling at my people. As much as I love them, they don't seem to understand that you are not evil. I loathe that about them because I care for you so much." She tried to explain. Her voice perhaps going to fast, due to the embarassment.

"I appreciate your concern, Princess," Kratos replied, giving a genuine smile despite his doubts. "But you need not worry about me. I don't spend enough time around the people for it to matter to me," his smile faded here, "...and their fear generally keeps them from outright violence against me."

Aria nodded slowly, but still gave a pout to show her disppleasure. The Princess was deffinately different, considering she had been alone for six years or more. Without her Village, it seemed like an eternity. Still, she had managed to stuff away most child-like aspects, except when she pouted. She always looked like her twelve-year-old self when she pouted. The neared the children's school, and both Aria and her escort stepped inside. Children swarmed to meet them, yet kept thier distance.
((Who wouldn't? A girl hiding behind a hood, and a Chosen who supposedly evil...WHAT A MATCH!))

((lol, I know, right?))
((Oh, just for the record..."and both Aria and her escort stepped inside" <--Please don't do that; let me control my own character.))
Kratos hesitated. Children had never been his forte. Well, most of the townspeople had never been his forte, but he felt especially out-of-place around young children.
He looked at Aria expectantly, figuring she would know what to do.

((Oops! Sorry, I have to go back to read my posts again...))
The teenager slowly let the hood down, and smiled at the children. "Hello, my name is Aria. You may know me as the Dark Princess. It's nice to meet you." She knelt down, causing her dress to sprawl around her. Most children came up to her, but some watched carefully. The children that did meet her pulled on her ribbon, touched her hair, and complimented her. Aria said 'Thank you.' after every compliment, let them play with her ribbons, and touch her hair. Every-so-often, Aria would laugh at the children's cuteness. Her shower of giggles filling the whole room, yete remaining quiet compared to the yells of the youth. She gestured to Kratos to join in, trying to introduce him also. "This is Mister Kratos, my most dearest friend."

((Hope you guys don't mind if I join you.=) ))
"Aw, that's no fair Miss Aria. Picking favorites?"
Valiente smiled. He stood at the doorway of the school, leaning against the frame with his hands tucked casually into his pockets. Of course he really didn't mind her calling Kratos her dearest friend, but he was just having a little fun, and he hoped she knew that.
The boy's charming smile spread, his green eyes flickering to Kratos for a moment, then back to Aria. He really didn't mind kids, unlike the shadow manipulator. In fact, he enjoyed having them around, they were funny.

((Yes, ST. Yes we do mind. Very much so.)) (( )) Kratos inclined his head politely with a slight smile. "Afternoon, Valiente," he greeted politely. Despite his belief that seven Chosen were superfluous, he still treated the others with the respect of an equal.

Aria giggled, "How do you do, Mister Valiente? It's nice to see you here." She replied standing up. Some kids held her hands, her dress, or followed her. The ones who were observing finally joined in. "Princess Lady, can we see your power?" A small blonde girl asked. Her violet eyes pleaded, and showed much wonderment. The Princess nodded, and waved her hand towards an empty corner. Many different toys appeared, but the most unique item there was an orb. It seemed to have a small door, to press apparently. When the button was pressed, the orb opened. It showed a mini Village. The Tower, forest, walls, moon, stars, and people were all tine figurines. Music played an inchanting song, while the Village twirled around. The children crowded around it, and made a huge fuss. Aria merely sighed, and looked longingly to the children. It was such a happy scene, but it was rude to ignore friends. "What brings you here, Mister Valiente?" she tilted her head in inqusition.

Kratos gave a small smile at the easily amused children, wondering where they teachers were, that they would allow an adult and two teenagers to just walk up and begin to play with them.

"Kratos." The man returned the acknowledgment, then turned back to the Princess, "Boredom, Miss Aria, pure boredom." His smile remained plastered across his face, his eyes traveling to the children, then back to Aria.

"Excuse me, children? But what happened to learning with teachers?" Aria piped up over the children. They all pointed to a wall, where two females were watching quietly. Niether one made eye contact with the Princess, just watched the children solemnly. "Ah. Very good." She nodded, and they went back to playing. "Boredom? I suppose boredom doesn't suit you." The girl giggled.

Valiente would have smiled if he wasn't already, "No, it doesn't. It's really quite, well, boring." Boring was of course the best way to describe boredom.

"Aptly said," Kratos replied with a smirk, his eyes on the teachers. How had he not noticed them before??
