Once upon a time, there was an empty world. In this world, it was blanketed by darkness, nothing lived, nothing stayed. Then, a beam of light, a door, and a girl appeared. They were the three things that existed in the darkness. The girl was about twelve, and awoke to find she was somewhere cold and very unpleasant. She had been torn from her old home, friends and family. For a long period of time, she worked on opening the door. It was no use; it had been locked...only to be opened by the other side. The girl focussed on something new to her. She could create things from her mind. Anything she wanted; she waved her hand and it was there. Of course, nothing stayed. All her creations faded away. The only things that stayed were clothes and food. Time passed. The girl grew into a seventeen-year-old teenager, and was faced with a difficult situation. She grew to know more of the Empty World, and needed the ultimate power source to make all her creations stay. This lead to her sacrificing her power source, her heart. First, she created a tower. It was horribly tall, and detailed too. Stairs winded around the cylinder form, led to a platform, which led to more a few more stairs, and finally came to a huge door that led to her room. She had decided to lock herself, with her heart, away in it, never to reveal herself. Next, she created a vast village. It was surrounded by a forest, and a wall. This village had cobblestone walks, a moon, a sun, clouds, stars, rivers, and electricity. The wall was to keep out the darkness, and let her village rest in peace. The gates to her Village of a Thousand Dreams was alomst always locked. The only thing from the darkness that loomed was Aria, and the door outside the Village walls. After, she decided to make her village teem with poeple. The first seven she made of her emotions. They were called the Chosen, and were the only ones permitted to enter her room. The Chosen guarded her memories, defended being, and protected her heart. She granted only those seven elemental powers. She made the Townspeople out of light and darkness. They were either Mages or Warriors. The next to be created were the ten Wanted. The Wanted were made of pure light. They too were either Mages or Warriors, and loathed their creator. They thought she was consumed by darkness because she had no heart, and wanted her downfall. The Townspeople never understood thier Creator because she never came down from her tower. Some thought she was evil, and tried not to speak of her. Soon, the Wanted influenced the Townspeople to call the Creator the Dark Princess or Princess Aria. Of course, this didn't bother her. She knew darkness was swallowing her, due to the lack of her heart. Though, she wasn't sure if she wanted the darkness to protect her from the dark world, or if she wished to be saved from the darkness spreading through her. Little did anybody know, that three Figures were about to open the door. They would discover a world unlike thier own, and see the amazing illusion. The three were friends, and were destined to destroy the Dark Princess, save the Village, and become the new rulers. Sadly, the fourth friend faded from thier memories, thier world, and thier hearts. Never to be heard of again. Questions arise. Is the Dark Princess truely as evil as her people depict? Or is she just hiding from the world that is slowly consuming her? Would the three remember thier long forgotten friend when the Princess is revealed? Would they really destroy her? Would Darkness Fall? And will the wanted have her downfall? A beam of light always comes from the darkness.

{{Here's to start off....}}
Inside the Village of a Thousand Dreams, high above all the buildngs and people, in the top room, behind a locked door, sat a girl and her beloved heart. The energy core for the whole village and all of it's people glowed with a bright light above her throne. It had been placed in the white marble, with many gorgeous designs engraved in the lovely stone around it. The walls of this large room were made of white and black marble. Pillars, open windows, and various furniture and other decor made up the room. Of course, the Princess had a hidden bed. She didn't want anything to disturb the one place she could escape to. Her petite figure sat in the throne like a statue. Her soft, creamy, peach-colored skin was radiated by the reflections of the white and glass in the room. Princess Aria, or the Dark Princess, was in deep thought. You could tell because her emerald eyes were distant. Her pink lips were not smiling, yet not frowning. She seemed to be in an utterly content mood. Her black locked cascaded down her back, over her shoulders, and to her waist. Her hair style seemed very intricate, as there were various loops and braids. The midnight locks ended up down, but certain strands of hair had been weaved around the golden vines that formed a tiara on her head. Loops glistened with gold and white ribbons, braids occasionaly had red jewels placed within the weave, and rest fell in wavy streams. Apart from her natural beauty, since she refused to wear make up, her her attire was stunning. To start, Aria wore gold beads that fell in rows upon her shoulders. Her necklace represented vines, but then formed a claw around a red jewel. Seven gold bracelets with red and whit gems sat on her left wrist, and a gold anklet sat on her right ankle. A white ribbon criss crossed around her right arm, and another white ribbon criss crossed around Aria's left leg. She never wore shoes because she found them horribly uncomfortable. Besides her gold vine-like tiara, her dress was the most stunning of her attire. Different shades of green decorated the dress. White embroidery lined the top, sides, and bottom of the dress. Gold and red accent completed the dress in fancy diamond patterns. Aria gracefully stood up, and peered out of the window. She saw many dots of people, happily decorated buildings, and foliage. Past the wall she created, there was nothing but darkness. She held her chest lightly, as if to feel the darkness growing there. A sigh escaped her lips, but she maintained composure. She wish she could chat with her beloved Chosen of Darkness, for she wished to tell him about her strange wantings. "Soon. Soon, one of them are bound to visit." Her voice had the tune of a fallen angel. It was soothing, but could spread her ache and pain easily if she spoke to others. Well, one thing the Princess mastered was to hide all things except a small smile.

ooc//Just to add in...
This roleplay has technology. It isn't like cars, television, phones, etc. This place doesn't have a time period.
Think....Kingdom Hearts. No time period, but technology is still available.

Light footsteps echoed from the stairs that led to the room. Kratos Aurion, Chosen of Darkness and Wrath, stepped into the Creator's room, panting slightly. He hd just come back from training.
He froze, and looked around.
"Princess...Are you alone here??" he asked, his deep voice gentle and soothing...and surprised. He rushed to her side, looking down at her.
"Forgive me," he said hurriedly. "I was unaware that you were defenseless...!" He looked to the stairs and scowled. He knew there had been others when he had left, how dare they leave Aria alone?!

The Dark Princess turned around, the distant look fading from her eyes. "Ah, Mister Kratos. It's nice to see you, too." Her tone uplifting more. Aria paused to listen to the Darkness Chosen, but then shook her head lightly. "No, no. I don't mind. Plus, they have lives of their own. I have that huge door to keep me safe, but it's always nice to have a visit from my friends." She made her way to a glass table, and sat down in one of the chairs. She smiled and gestured for him to come sit down. Her other hand waved over the table. A notebook formed, along with a pencil, on the glass. The Princess managed not to show that the darkness in her chest was bothering her. Instead she asked, "Would you like to be drawn?"

Kratos turned back to Aria, and took a seat she offered. Deciding that regardless of before, nothing had happened and he was there now, he smiled lightly, the expression very handsome.
He nodded in response to her question. "If you'd like to draw me, Princess," he said, enjoying the fact that it was just him with her and no one was around to bother or distract him.

The girl nodded, and flipped the notebook open. It brought back memories of her old world, and drawing her childhood friends. Her fingers picked up the pencil, and lightly sketched over the paper. A tower started to form. Windows, flags, and pillars decorated it from bottom to top. A Village, a Wall, and then a person. A man started to develop. His midnight hair blowing to one side, and his eyes pierce through paper. Yet all his features were soft, especially with a smile drawn in. Kratos was holding two dark orbs in his hands, and was standing on the dirt path infront of the Village. The Tower was visible behind him, but what really caught your eyes was the crescent moon and stars. Aria gave the picture to Kratos. "Please, keep it." She whispered.

As Aria drew, Kratos thought about something she had said that had caught his attention.
"They have lives of their own..." The words echoed in his head.
Since when were we to have our own lives? I was under the impression that we were created to serve out Creator...He watched Aria thoughtfully as she worked. She is becoming lax...Is she underestimating her foes? Or is it just...kindness? A creation is of no use if it does not perform the task for which it was created, is it not?
He looked down at the paper as she finished with surprise, and took it. "Amazing..." He looked up at her, with that same smile. "You truly are a wonderful artist, Princess Aria..." He looked at the picture again, more astounded than he let on. It truly was a wonderful piece, and he loved how it drew everything together and complimented his own element.
He gave a soft chuckle. That smile is far from Wrath, though...
"Thank you, Princess." A disk of darkness appeared, and he slipped the picture into it. It vanished. "I will find a suitable place for it in my room."

"You are quite welcome, Kratos." She nodded. The Princess closed her eyes, and lay back. Lisening to the sounds around her happily.

Kratos looked from Aria back to the window, shifting slightly.
"You know, I think it might do you good to perhaps visit the village once. You seem so lonely up here, Princess. And there is very little to do..." he suggested, looking back at her.

Aria opened her eyes, nodded, and laughed to herself. "Mister Kratos, you must know what's on my mind. I was just thinking of the same idea." She replied calmly. The teenager stood up to fetch something, and came back only a few moments later. "I will go to see the children, but they musn't know it's me." She stated grimly. Her voice edging back to that of a fallen angel. Her hands whipped a cloak over her shoulders, doing the clasp, and putting up the hood. "Would you escort me, dearest Kratos?" She asked from the shadows of the hood.

Kratos stood at once. "Of course, Princess." He quickly made his way to her side.
"But, may I ask, why the secrecy? Why not walk among your people freely?"

A sigh escaped the pink lips of the Dark Princess. Her eyes scanned the Village as they descended down stairs, but eventually locked with the Chosen's. "Because the Wanted may be lurking around, and some Villagers don't like me. I don't mind being destroyed, but to see my people hating me...it makes me very sad." Her words were not strangled, but not as confident as she would like. It was true some Villagers didn't like her, but it saddened her to no end seeing the Wanted spreading it around even more. Aria could only hope that some of her people still loved her, as she loved the,

"I don't understand...They hate you because they don't know you. They fear you. If you showed yourself to them, perhaps they would see that you are in fact good. And if anyone tries to hurt you, I would protect you, Princess," Kratos said. He hesitated. "Though, in retrospect, perhaps having the Chosen of Darkness might not be the best of ideas to prove ones goodness..." His expression darkened slightly as he once again felt spited for being who he was.
