"You flatter me, Valiente...Do not doubt your own abilities. I am clossser than you think..."
--
Kratos continued to send out that gentle pulse wave of darkness, eyes closed, watching both Princess Aria and Valiente simultaneously through the shadows. the pulse was so soft that only a truly focused being who knew his energy might sense it. He meant it that way, so no other Chosens would be attracted, nor would any unwanted guests who had the capability.

It took him a bit, but Valiente finally located and locked onto the pulse that Kratos was sending out. He concentrated on it for a moment, then opened his eyes, following it.

"Very good, Valiente..." The tone was not quite condescending, but nor was it congratulatory. It was sort-of neutral. Kratos enjoyed testing the others as well as himself. It was how he'd grown familiar with them and the limits to their abilities, and been able to measure his against theirs, and finally determined that all seven of them were unnecessary.

"I'm going to kick your ass when I find you Kratos." Valiente hissed, annoyed at the other man.

Kratos wondered absently what he'd done to anger the other Chosen. He certainly hadn't asked the man to physically find him; he'd only given out his coordinates to prove that he wasn't cheating, as he was being accused of.
He sat back, and watched both Val and Aria, waiting for the former to come, for whatever reason.
"Good luck getting on the roof..."

"It's not as hard as you'd think." Valiente responded, having now stepped outside. He glanced upward at the roof of the school, then side to side at his surroundings. He noticed a small shop to his right that was tall enough for him to grab the rooftop behind it. From there, it was about a three feet across, four feet up jump to the roof Kratos was on.

The Princess had shivered when she first heard Kratos whisper as she passed by, but then she began to giggle at the conversation between the two Chosen. She had followed Kratos' continuing pulses to the roof, and from there she just climbed up the jagged stone of the building. No shoes meant no noise, and she could easily hide herself from Kratos' sharp eyes. All she had to do was keep her mind clear, her noises soft, and her powers at a neutral. Finally, Aria had swung herself onto the roof. Just her luck that the two seemed to be in deep discussion, in which she walked up and tapped Kratos' shoulder. "I believe you have been found, Mister Kratos." The girl purred in a smug fashoin. Although, the thing she poken could've been an illusion, a fake, or a dummy for all she knew.

Kratos froze, and a few choice words came to mind as he felt someone tap his shoulder. He was on his feet in seconds, staring at Aria.
"How did you do that??" he demanded, eyes wide. He blinked, and quickly recovered himself, drawing himself up to full height, and grinning handsomely.
"As always, you amaze me once again, princess," he said quietly, nodding his head respectfully.
Something danced behind those politely amused, gentlemanly eyes, though...Anger. And disappointment. But mostly anger.
Hundreds of thoughts and berations and admonishments flitted through his mind.

The Dark Princess giggled happily and curtsied. "A woman usually never reveals her secrets, but of course it simple for me to find you." Her hand politely covered her mouth as another giggle emitted from her lips. "I am one with the darkness, one with you, and one with my enviroment." She tilted her head, and lowered her hand from her mouth. "Mister Kratos, you are just about the same as I am, and so is Mister Valiente. You are in touch with the darkness, he with the fire. You both know my connection to you. I suppose you both know this area, also. If you know who you are looking for, you can find just about anyone...even me." Her voice was light, happy, and almost sing-song. Except, she felt the darkness inside her swell, rumble, and move around. She would neer show it, of course, for she didn't wish to worry her Chosen.

Kratos gave Aria a contemplative look, and nodded thoughtfully. "Of course..."
A thought occurred to him, and he smiled again. "Then it's hardly fair to play a game of hide-and-seek if you know where I am at any given time, now, is it, princess?" he asked lightly. He looked over at Valiente, whom he could now see.
"And you accuse me of foul play..."

The Princess looked taken back for a moment, but she evenutally gained her graceful composure once more. "Aw, how did you find out my secret so quick. I do say, Mister Kratos, you seem to surpass my expectations all the time." She paused and giggled quietly.
"Although, everybody seems to be doing that these days..." Her eyes trailed away to the sky, obviously thinking something deeply. Her figure jolted, and she snapped back.
"Right. Now, I hide?" Aria tilted her head with question, as she normally did.

"First choose your seeker, princess," Kratos replied.

" Right. How about...Valiente! I'm sure you won't be able to find my hiding spot." She smiled slyly, her finger pointed to him lightly.
There was a moment of silence, until Aria had disappeared with a gust of wind. Her figure landing somewhere near the schoolhouse. She masked herself from the seeker, and abruptly climbed the tree, sitting in a branch to keep her balance.
Her eyes peeked out of a few leaves, this way she could see, but not be seen.

Valiente sighed dramatically, "Do I have to?" He asked no one in particular, although Kratos was the only one there. The first game had been fun, but the Chosen's flame died quickly, and he, as usual, lost interest in it after a while.

"Bored already? Come now, and here I thought a chance to beat me at my own shadow games would excite you, Valiente," Kratos said, folding his arms once the princess was gone. He smirked. "Shall I make it a little interesting? What say you have to not only find me, but tag me before I get back to this spot, which we'll call safety?"
Kratos' eyes lit up suddenly, and his smirk stretched into a dark grin.
"What say you had to tag me...with fire? Surely you'll jump at the chance to burn me under my own rules...? T'would be good training, no? And I promise not to use my powers once I am safely hidden..."
He winked. "Pique your interest?"
