Onyx watched the boy, feeling somewhat like a stalker now, and chuckled lowly as he spotted a small frown on the boy's face. I remember that feeling. It gets worse, kid. It gets worse. With a small shrug, he figured it couldn't hurt to talk to the kid. Why not?
"Why haven't you strategized around your weak point?" he asked aloud, not insulting the kid, but merely asking. Was the guy that confident?

“Huh?” Vincent turned towards the direction of the voice. He looked at the other player character. He seemed to be a high level one. Why was he wasting his time talking to a low level like him? He simply tilted his head to the side and his reply was. “What’s it to you?”

Without thinking, a small smirk flitted across Onyx's features. He waved an arm out in a slight shrug. "It's nothing to me. Why would I care?"
"It's not like any amount of strategizing could allow you to defeat me.... Not yet, anyway." He halted his stride next to the boy, stilfiling a chuckle at the obvious height difference. "I have the time, why not take advantage of it?" he said cooly.
"After all, if you don't take every chance you get to move up, you'll never get anywhere, am I right?" he said, shifting his weight to one leg and crossing his arms, as if it was an unconcious act. "It all depends on the player."

Vincent merely folded his arms and watched the player character, his eyes hidden in his dark shades. He kept the frown on his face, but now was it directed towards the player and not because of his lack of ability points. “You should have gotten straight to the point,” He said, finding most of what the player said unnecessary. “Basically, you’re bored and decided to see if I would allow you to help me because I'm a low level, right?”

Onyx just tilted his head to the side, a small bit of bangs falling in his face that had come from the tie he'd had his hair in. "Hn." Blunt. It's wonderful.
"Actually, I was just headed to the inn to wait until I can head back to HQ. I have some spare time, if you'd like some pointers," he said flatly.
He wasn't on quiet enough to be bored of the place yet. Not prone to be overly talkitive, he just arched an eyebrow in question, waiting for his reply. If he said no, it didn't matter to him, he'd just go wait out his time and fix himself up to head back to HQ and log out.

Brown eyes could be seen glaring at the player character as the lens of Vincent’s shades became clear like regular glasses. “I’m all ears,” he replied simply, he was never one to refuse hearing advice from someone. He waited to see what the player character had to say. It should be useful since he was a high leveler.

With a soft sigh, Onyx gestured to the direction of the inn. "Since I'm headed this way..." he trailed off, his meaning implied.
Without waiting for an actual response, he began walking towards the inn. "You build these things, right?" he asked as he walked, assuming the other would follow.

“If you are talking about my Mecha…? Then yes,” Vincent replied, staying one or two steps behind the other player as they walked towards the inn.

Slightly irritated, Onyx waited a couple steps as the kid caught up before walking nearly in step with him. "If you could build it so that you were inside it or something, you wouldn't have to worry about it not attacking when the enemy is near you. It would automatically attack to defend both itself and you, correct? That's how they work, right? A guardian program, where you build your own guardian." He wasn't sure you could do that, but he'd already killed and KO'd a few mecha makers like this one, and it was starting to annoy him. Maybe if he taught this kid, he'd have a decent mecha opponent later.

Vincent managed to hold in a sigh, because what the player was telling him right now, he had figured out already. And he didn’t like people telling him the obvious. “I don’t have a guardian program, and so I have to deal with my current weakness for now. I believe that as long as you manage to create good Mecha’s then you can defeat your opponent before your weakness becomes a problem. I believe some people stay away from programs like these because they have no creativity.” That was his reply.

A soft chuckle escaped from Onyx, surprising him slightly. "Creativity is vital when it comes to playing a game."
"The way Iggy designed your mecha program, he based it off the guardian programs. Your mecha's attitude towards you is that of a master or guardian. His idea was to set it up so that no program would be alike, because you make your own. Some would be better, depending on how you strategize while you make your mecha. You seem like a smart kid, you should know where your weaknesses lie by now."
He might get touchy if I sound condencending... Damn kids. Why does Iggy have to explain all this crap to me? He acts like I like him because he knows he can cancel me at any time. Bastard. He deserves the Hackers. He scowled at the thought, but shrugged it off the next moment. What was the point in brooding the situation? It was a fact of life: the Creators had his ass in their hands.

Vincent smirked when he heard the creativity remark. As he listened to the rest of what Onyx had to say he shoved his hands into his pockets and made the lens of his shades turn pitch black again.
Thank you for telling me things I already know. I made sure to realize all this stuff when I decided to choose this program in the first place! He had made sure to make that a thought, since he didn’t feel like getting killed off right now.
“Since I’ve just started using this program, I assume at the higher levels I may get some more abilities with the Mecha’s I can summon.”

Onyx glanced down as the kid's shades darkened. "Usually I just zone Noname out after the first paragraph, so I have no clue, kid." Che. Asshole found out the last time and reduced my attack to level 3. It took forever just to kill Opponents my damn level! The scowl returned with a vengence.
I really hate that guy. He's so caught up in his own little frickin' world.
"Bastard," he muttered lowly. "So where are your problem areas?" he said flatly, seeing the inn a bit further off. It's about time.
